Prerequisites Project II
Intended Learning Outcome  Students shall develop implementation strategies for a given problem solution within a case study in the field of natural resources management. By:

  • Establishing projects objectives
  • Elaborate implementation strategies
  • Define criteria to apply decision making methods to select most appropriate implementation tools

In order to be able to establish implementation strategies towards sustainable natural resources management Examination.

Content Make use of tools and scientific input from each specialization taught in the first three semesters. A topic may be chosen individually in agreement with or is given by the supervisor. The typical tasks are the following:

  • Out of existing project results develop solutions to meet initial hypothesis
  • Compare and evaluate different potential solutions
  • Establish a communication structure with potential stakeholders
  • Develop implementation strategies
Teaching Method
  • Regular meetings with tutor for instruction and preparation of self-study
  • Students will work individually or in small groups of maximum 3 members
  • Possibility to combine with practical trainings in cooperation with project related institutions
Assesment Method 100% written report
